My Equipment

Below is a list of my equipment. I don't just use it for my films but also any projects I film. It ranges from my camera and accessories, to editing software's and computers.

Panasonic LUMIX FMZ-350

This camera has a big X24 zoom, and a maximum aperture of F2.8. It can shoot 4k 25, and 1080p 50. This camera is very useful and will get the job done. I've now shot an entire film with this camera, as well as many smaller projects. I have invested much time into getting to know it, and I am now confident when operating it.

I am proficient in Final Cut Pro X. I have been using the software for years, and have edited many projects, including short films, on it.

I know how to use Premiere Pro, enough to edit an entire film. I have edited a few college projects on Premiere Pro, and all have turned out from good to great. I do not own this software though.

I am currently learning how to use DaVinci Resolve. Right now I'm at a beginner level, but soon I hope to be proficient.

I own a DLSR RODE mic, that easily links to any DSLR with automatic gain. It has very good sound quality, especially when tinkered with in post.

I have a sturdy Victiv tripod. It can reach up to 180cm at full height, and is easily collapsible for easier transport. It has a baseplate with it, meaning it can fit any camera, and works especially well with my DSLR and its light weight.

For my steadier shots, I often use a gimbal. Although balancing it can take time, it's completely worth it for the smooth, and cinematic footage it gives. It's light, and very portable.

My first computer is a powerful gaming pc. It's processor is I5, and it has 16GB of RAM. It runs DaVinci resolve very smoothly, and will therefore operate FCPX and PP well.

My second computer is a 2012 MacBook. It's a little slow these days, but still works fine, and can run Final Cut Pro well.

My hard drive is 1TB, with almost 800GB of storage to spare. With this I can easily transport footage, other files and projects to different computers, without needing to worry about space.
